Heat is Radiation. Long wave Infrared Rays. There are 3 types of heat transfer: Conduction, Convection, and Radiation.
ORIGIN OF CERAMICS: Ceramics were developed by the NASA space program to combat the high temperatures that the space shuttle endured during re-entry. Applying ceramic tiles to the outer hull of the shuttle, allowed this intense heat to be reflected away from the inner hull.

WHAT ARE THEY AND HOW DO THEY WORK?
These tiny hollow microsphere therma cells are no larger than a single grain of flour. They have compressive strengths of 6000psi and a softening point of 1800ºC and are non-combustible. The air space inside the spheres has been removed creating a vacuum. The laws of physics states that nothing, including heat and sound can move by conduction through a vacuum, since it represents an absence of matter. In essence, what you are left with are mini thermos bottles that resist thermal & sound conductivity.
HOW DO I STOP HEAT TRANSFER THROUGH MY WALLS?
These micro ceramics are mixed with only the best paint ingredients. When applied to the walls and ceilings, the coating shrinks down tight creating a dense film of super insulating vacuum cells which resists radiation and sound conductivity breaking the cycle of heat conduction through the walls. WHAT MAKES UP TYPES OF PAINT AND WHY DOES IT VARY IN PRICE?
Paint is made of a tint, pigment, water, a binding agent and clay fillers. The more expensive the paint, the less clay fillers and water are added. This is then replaced with more quality ingredients.
WHAT MAKES UP OUR CERAMIC THERMA CELL PAINT?
Our paints contain ZERO CLAY FILLERS. The rest of the ingredients contain only the highest titanium white pigment, a small amount of water, a high concentration of ceramic therma cells and top quality binding and rosin agents made today. Depending on your application, different rosins and elastomeric ingredients change to accommodate the types of paint for your needs.
